Với mục đích bảo vệ môi trường, mang đến cho trẻ một môi trường sống xanh, đáp ứng nhu cầu phát triển tự nhiên của trẻ nhỏ, Sakura Montessori Hà Đông đã định hướng thiết kế chặt chẽ và tối ưu xây dựng dự án và trở thành trường mầm non đầu tiên tại Việt Nam đạt chứng chỉ chuẩn công trình xanh EDGE (được chứng nhận bởi Tổ chức Tài chính quốc tế (IFC – một thành viên của nhóm Ngân hàng thế giới).
Từ chất liệu xây dựng đến các trang thiết bị đều được lựa chọn kỹ để giảm áp lực của công trình lên môi trường. Yếu tố cây xanh được tối đa hóa trong từng khoảng không gian trường nhằm điều hòa không khí và tạo bóng mát cho các khu vui chơi ngoài trời.
Ý tưởng thiết kế về cơ bản đã được hiện thực hoá giúp tiết kiệm năng lượng tốt hơn ở Sakura Montessori Hà Đông.
