Digital communication differs greatly from in-person, face-to-face conversations. While one may provide surface insights, the other gives you depth.
In our office, we have dedicated 50% of our space to various interactions, which has naturally fostered a stronger sense of connection. From a businessman’s standpoint, we want our employees to be able to become close and genuine friends. As designers, we strive for people to feel a connection with the space.
Interaction is at the core of all user experiences – the dialogue between your design and the user. If this conversation is uninteresting, the user will likely leave and seek out someone or something more engaging.
